When your pet boards at an animal hospital instead of at a boarding kennel there are several advantages. The staff at an animal hospital consists of veterinary professionals who have the knowledge and experience to address any special medical needs. A veterinarian is on staff to evaluate your pet in the event that a special situation occurs. If you wish for your pet to have a medical procedure during boarding such as teeth cleaning, growth removal, physical examination, diagnostic testing etc., these things can all be completed during your pet’s boarding stay.

Here are some of the features of boarding at the Mar Vista Animal Medical Center:

Separate areas for boarding dogs and cats.
4 x 7 foot runs available for large dogs.
Reduced rate for day-boarding.
Dogs are walked three times daily.
Animals are fed Hills Science Diet^® but special diets and feeding schedules are gladly accommodated.
Bathing services on site.
