WHAT’S NEW IN OUR WEB SITE LIBRARIES (since last month)
ALPRAZOLAM Loud noises such as fireworks or thunderstorms can cause a dog to actually develop a panic disorder and, of course, there are other forms of anxiety that may need treatment. This common human tranquilizer has application for some veterinary situations. For more information, visit our newest page in The Pharmacy Center.
FLUID THERAPY As our kidney failure section is remodelled, we invite you to this preview of some of the new sections. This one concerns the administration of fluids to bring down (and keep down) the toxin levels of kidney failure. Our kidneys are basically the masterminds of our body's plumbing and when they lose efficiency, extra fluids are crucial. There are many ways to deliver fluids. This page in The Pet Web Library goes over the options.
ANEMIA Also a preview for the new Kidney Failure Center is this section on anemia in renal patients. Anemia is the state where inadequate red blood cells are present which leads to a tired patient, often with a cold body temperature and poor appetite. Resolving the anemia helps tremendously with life quality. For more details, visit this page in The Pet Web Library.
