WHAT’S NEW IN OUR WEB SITE LIBRARIES (since last month)
MALIGNANT MELANOMA Malignant melanoma is a tumor of the pigment containing cells of the skin, toenail bed (especially in black dogs), mucous membranes, and/or eye. Meaningful treatment requires early intervention, typically entailing aggressive surgery. Recently a vaccine has been developed to stimulate the patient's own immune system to destroy the cancer. For more information on this devastating cancer, visit the newest page in The Pet Web Library.
