Need a dog friendly place to take your canine friend? Going on vacation with your canine friend and want a dog park in an area you don't really know? This web site allows you to enter a city and get a list of dog parks, complete with a handy set of symbols to describe resources and any restrictions.

By the way, The Friends of the Culver City Dog Park will be having an auction to raise funds to design and build a local dog park. They already have a grant to clean the land but still need more support. Visit www.culvercitydogpark.org for more details

WHAT’S NEW IN OUR WEB SITE LIBRARIES (since last month)

    CAT NEUTER SLIDE SHOW
Although not a new page, our Neutering the Male Cat page in The Surgery Suite now includes a slide show to walk you through an actual feline neuter. These are actual surgical photographs. If you are not too squeamish and would like to see how the surgery is done, step-by-step, click on the slide show link at the very bottom of the page.

    FLUCONAZOLE
Fungal infections have always been a treatment challenge. They respond slowly to medication, and availability of oral treatments is only a recent development. Fluconazole is able to penetrate sequestered fungal infections and is particularly useful in treating fungal infections in the nervous system. For details, visit this page in The Pharmacy Center..

    BETHANECHOL CHLORIDE
Spinal injury can impair comfortable urination, leading to increased sphincter tone that is hard to voluntarily overcome. To regain control sometimes the bladder needs a stronger contraction. This is where bethanechol chloride comes in. Read more this medication ont this page in The Pharmacy Center.

    DIPHENOXYLATE HYDROCHLORIDE
It might be surprising to find that opiates can be used in the treatment of diarrhea, but in fact they help improve the tone and motility of the intestine. Diphenoxylate hydrochloride, a relative of Demerol, is frequently used for animal as well as human diarrheas but the addition of atropine prevents recreational use. We invite you to read more.in this page in The Pharmacy Center.
