FALL FELINE ELECTIVE SURGERY SPECIAL

We want all the Summer Kittens to get off on the right paw in their
new homes. With adolescence comes such objectionable behavior
as fighting, caterwauling, urine marking, and furniture scratching.
To help your kittens grow up into well-behaved ladies and gentlemen,
we offer a low-cost special once a year (for six weeks in the fall) as
a service to our community. A full service hospital at clinic prices!
Between NOVEMBER 1st & DECEMBER 15th
the following elective surgeries are half price (as shown):

 Male Cat Neutering:

$22.50

 Female Cat Spaying:

$37.50

 (includes one night hospitalization)

 Declaw Front Feet:

$75.00

(Includes two nights hospitalization plus bandages)

 Soft Paws® available:

2 feet:

$20.00

4 feet:

$30.00

(Note: all cats admitted to the hospital for elective surgeries must be
current on their distemper and their rabies vaccinations;
cats must weigh at least 3 lbs for neutering and at least 4 lbs for spaying)

Click on any of the above procedures to go to its corresponding web page for detailed information on the surgery, its implications and/or alternatives available.

HOSPITAL REMODELING

Pardon Our Construction (not on our website, but in our hospital!)

Starting December 15th, and throughout most of January 2002, the entire front half of our hospital will be under construction for a much needed remodeling.

We will still be opened for business, as our kennels, treatment areas, radiology and surgery rooms will not be affected, but our clients will have to come in and out through the back as we redo the floors, walls and ceilings in our waiting rooms, treatment rooms and reception area.

When we’re done, the hospital will have a new and larger reception area to better serve our clients, a new rest room, and beautiful new walls, floors, and exam room table tops.

GARDEN TIPS: SAFE PLANTS

Whether it is a shrub, a tree or just a potted plant, it’s good to know that a dog or cat can’t be harmed by chewing up a few leaves or petals. Every month we feature safe attractive plants for your home or garden. This month’s safe plants are:

WHAT’S NEW ON OUR WEB SITE (since last month)

    HYPOTHYROIDISM
Hypothyroidism is the most common hormone imbalance of the dog. While it would seem like it would be a simple subject, there are enough complexities to have kept it out of our Pet Web Library until now.  Come see what you've been missing.  (Sorry, no graphics at this time - we’ll add some soon).
