Hill's Weight Loss Program 2003

IS YOUR PET GETTING A BIT BROAD?

Obesity is not only the most common form of malnutrition in humans in the U.S., it is also the most common form of pet malnutrition.

  • We give too many snacks

  • We give too much food

  • We under-exercize them

and it all adds up.

But an effective Weight Loss Program can be devised safely by your veterinarian. For Pet Weight Loss to work, you must be able to do the following:

  • Feed only a measured amount of pet food

  • Use a prescription weight loss diet (“Lite” pet foods will not really induce weight loss)

  • Bring the pet in every two weeks for weighing in (no charge) so that need for plan adjustments can be assessed.

Weight loss is charted on a graph until a specific goal weight is reached, and then a maintenance diet is used.

WHEN YOU BEGIN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM,
THE FIRST BAG OF FOOD IS FREE
