WHAT’S NEW IN OUR WEB SITE LIBRARIES (since last month)

    TAENIA
Tapeworms are common where ever there are fleas but did you know there is a tapeworm that comes from raw meat or carrion?  To learn more about this creature check out this page in The Pet Web Library.

    PYRANTEL
When a new puppy or kitten has been said to be "dewormed" most of the time this is the medication that was given. Wondering what this stuff is?  Read this page in The Pharmacy Center to find out.

    TAMIFLU (OSELTAMIVIR)
Canine parvovirus is a life-threatening infection with the usual victim being a puppy that has not finished his vaccination series.  Intensive care has helped tremendously in treatment but lately a new medication, developed to treat humans with the flu, has received attention. For more details on oseltamivir and its use in puppies with parvo infection, check out his page in The Pharmacy Center.

    CANINE FALSE PREGNANCY
A heat cycle is a normal phenomenon for an unspayed female dog but false pregnancy is only normal to a point. Some females will "adopt" a stuffed toy, give milk, even go into labor.  How does this happen and how do we make it stop? The newest page in The Pet Web Library gives some explanations.
