Interesting External Links
"Feed an animal in need" for free
The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals.

It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "feed an animal in need" for free. This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising.  (Legal Disclaimer: we haven’t checked out the veracity of this site ourselves, but Weight Watchers is one of the sponsors, and that’s good enough for us!)

Click on this link, and when the site opens, click on the purple box that says Feed an Animal for free.  That's it! Pass it along to people you know.
PLEASE TELL 10 FRIENDS TO TELL 10 TODAY!!
If you don't have ten friends, make 'em up. Thanks!!.

WHAT’S NEW IN OUR WEB SITE LIBRARIES (since last month)

    HYPERCALCEMIA
An elevated blood calcium is a damaging metabolic change and usually bodes a serious underlying disease. The testing sequence is complicated and not inexpensive. This page in The Pet Web Library will help it make sense,

    CANINE DISTEMPER
Canine Distemper was once the scourge of dog-owning communities but is now only common in rescue, shelter, and pet store situations. What is the infection that ultimately formed the very basis of regular canine vaccination?  This page in The Vaccine Mezzanine has the details, plus an FAQ.

FELINE REPRODUCTION (GIVING BIRTH TO KITTENS)
Birds do it. Bees do it. Even little cats do it. And what should you do when they've done it? Here is a primer, in The Pet Web Library.

    FELINE OXALATE STONES
Rapidly emerging as a common bladder stone in the cat, oxalate stones have increased in incidence tremendously over the past 10 years.  This stone is formed under the conditions that prevent struvite stones so in preventing one stone, a new stone has become problematic. Dogs get oxalate stones as well but the feline recommendations are a bit different. Read this section of The Bladder Stones Information Center in The Pet Web Library for more details.
