Newest Doctor at Mar Vista: Welcome Gretchen Becker, D.V.M.
Dr. Becker attended the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine after an illustrious college (and very nearly Olympic) basketball career. You may have seen her on television as she was a Science Diet spokesperson and you may have heard her on the “Great Day America” radio show as the on-the-air pet care consultant. At home, she cares for her son as well as pets Tooey (a Lab-German Shepherd cross), Tabitha (a cat) and Wilt (a Peking Duck). She joins us most Sundays here at Mar Vista Animal Medical Center. The program is scheduled to end on June 30, 2002. That’s ten months away to take advantage of this opportunity to get any feral cats around your property spayed or neutered, helping to deal with the overpopulation of these unowned cats, and protecting the feral cats from euthenasia should they ever be captured by animal control.
