Originally from Mexico City, Benita has lived in Los Angeles for fifteen years, and has been working in animal hospitals for the last ten. Apparently a love for animals runs in her family, as three of her seven brothers also work in the animal care industry. (She also has three sisters!) Benita has worked and trained with Dr. Brooks at Dr. Brooks’ previous hospital. At home, Benita cares for both her daughter and her dog, a chow mix named “Galleta.”
