COMMON LYMPHOMA CHEMOTHERAPY MEDICATIONS

The word "chemotherapy" conjures up images of unpleasant toxicity but in reality, "chemotherapy" just refers to the use of medications (as opposed to radiation or surgery) in the treatment of cancer. Unpleasant side effects are actually unusual for pets. The treatment of cancer is a very fast moving field and new protocols are published every couple of months. On this web site we cannot hope to keep up with the progress being made but we can provide information about the medications being used.
